Objectives:

Develop intellectual centers for nanotechnology research that enable research
collaborations both internal and external to the SPRING partnership

Enhance current academic experimental centers for nanotechnology research,
especially by encouraging development of joint facilities and infrastructure,
and enable their usage by companies and other universities throughout the state.

Seek expanded joint research programs among SPRING members, especially by seeking new
programs collectively at a larger scale.

Coordinate research projects to maximize effectiveness and efficiency among SPRING members.

Coordinate nano conferences to reduce the number and increase the quality.

Extend SPRING into other regions of Texas to insure impact throughout Texas
