SPRING - Approaches

Approaches:

Support technical meetings of SPRING partners to foster interactions.
Hold workshops – all technical, short presentations, blackboard style, breakout sessions to explore common areas for collaboration.
Hold state-wide SPRING research conferences, starting in 2003 at UT Austin, and expand the attendance beyond the initial SPRING membership
Coordinate a visit to SPRING campuses of all three military service OSR Directors (and DARPA) to push for large nano initiatives
Do the same for NSF, DOE, NASA…
